ACTION ADVENTURE TOURS YAMBA is a small company specialising in low impact eco adventures with a friendly, relaxed approach. We are dedicated to providing our clients with tours of the highest quality.
The company is owned and operated by Bob and Jude Lillington. Bob has been working in the Outdoor Tourism Industry for 25 years and has been paddling the rivers, lakes and sea of north coast NSW for over 30 years.

OUR EQUIPMENT
Bob looked hard to find the right kayaks for his clients. He chose “Trade Wind” double kayaks made by Custom Design. All kayaks in the fleet are made from recycled plastics in keeping with our philosophy of low impact and environmentally friendly outdoor activities. They are fast, stable, highly manoeuverable and really comfortable. They have dry storage compartments, adjustable seating and foot steering rudders to make paddling more enjoyable.

We provide easy to manage paddles, splash skirts and lifejackets, and, for our more advanced adventures, helmets. On all our trips we carry an emergency kit which includes first aid and communication equipment such as marine radio, EPIRB, cell phone and flares.

Our courtesy vehicle, able to carry up to eight persons, is air conditioned, and will transport you from our meeting point to the launch site and return.
For the refreshment breaks on our tours we offer locally grown, award winning Woombah plunger coffee and Australian Madura tea, freshly baked cakes and fresh fruit platters.
